Registration and Application Process
Candidates must register themselves on the official website of MCC if they want to compete in the NEET SS 2024 counseling. Just those who have qualified for the NEET SS 2024 will be allowed to participate in the counselling procedure, as previously stated. Candidates must pay a non-redeemable registration fee of INR 5,000 online to finish the NEET SS 2024 counselling application process.
A security deposit of INR 2,00,000 will also be required to transfer. For those who were assigned a seat through the counselling of NEET SS 2024, the security deposited will be adjusted against academic fees. Candidates who do not obtain the seat assigned to them or those who opt out of the counselling process will be reimbursed for their participation.
Choice Filling and Locking
Next, on the official MCC portal, you’ll fill in the courses and colleges that you’d like to attend. Before submitting their preferences, candidates are encouraged to investigate the cost structure and other information about the universities they want. Candidates will have to access their registered accounts on the official MCC website in order to choose among their options. Next, in the order of preference, they must choose the courses and colleges to which they want to apply. In the preference form, there is no cutoff on how many options one can enter. Furthermore, before a candidate locks the options, they may be changed as many times as needed.
Seat Allotment List
On the basis of the NEET SS 2024 merit list and the choices that were submitted online, MCC prepares the seat allotment list for various specialties. Each specialty’s seat allocation list is created independently. Allowing/Denying a Seat Given
Candidates who have been allotted a seat through the NEET SS 2024 counselling will have to choose from the following four options:
- Accept the seat allotted and exit from the counselling process
- Accept the seat allotted, but choose to participate in the next round
- Refuse the seat allotted, but choose to participate in the next round
- Refuse the seat allotted and exit from the counselling process
All candidates selected through the counselling of NEET SS 2024 will have to fill in any of the above options by logging into their registered accounts. If a candidate fails to choose any of the above options, their seat will be forfeited and their admission will be cancelled.
Joining the Institute
Candidates who want to occupy the seat assigned to them must report to the relevant institution before a certain date. Those who decide to upgrade in the next round must also report to the relevant institution, or they will be rejected for future rounds.
Eligibility Criteria of NEET SS Counseling
Candidates who are willing to register for the NEET SS Counselling should have been qualified in the NEET examination compulsorily. And aspirants who have scored the minimum marks (Cut Off) as prescribed by the officials are eligible to participate in the MCC NEET SS Counselling Process.
- Candidates who have qualified NEET SS 2024, but could not register for the first round
- Candidates who had opted for up-gradation in the first round and have joined the allotted institute
- Candidates who have accepted the seats allotted to them in round one and chose to exit from the counselling process can also fill fresh applications for round two
Candidates who did not report to the allotted institute after choosing the up-gradation option will not be considered for the second round of NEET SS counselling 2024. Also, if a candidate chooses to exit the first round after accepting the seat, they will not be considered for the second round of NEET SS 2024 counselling unless they fill fresh applications.

Counselling Fee of NEET-SS 2024
The candidates who will be applying for the NEET-SS 2024 Counselling should be paying a registration fee of Rs.5000/-, this fee should be paid online through the official website.
Seat Allotment of NEET SS 2024
Once the aspirant utilize the choice locking & filling for the second round, the Medical Counselling Committee officials will freeze the options and proceed with the Processing of Seat Allotment from 29th To 30th November 2024 and the result of this will be published on 1st December 2024.
