NEET Counselling 2020: Authority of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the NEET UG 2020 Counselling Process. Online MCC Counselling and Seat Allotment for 15% All India Quota {AIQ} seats will conduct soon after the publish of NEET UG Results 2020. NEET Counselling 2020

NTA UG NEET conducted on September 13, 2020 on pen and paper-based mode. As many as 235 medical colleges will take participate in the NEET 2020 Counselling process. Total 3 rounds will organised including a mop-up round. The mop up round of Counselling will conduct only for Deemed/Central University and ESIC College. All the qualifying applicants need to read the counselling related information in notification. One must ensure that in order to appear for counselling, one has to clear the minimum percentile, the NEET cut-off to qualify for the counselling process.NEET Counselling Process

Candidates need to register for counselling in order to appear for counselling. Candidates would be allotted the seat on the basis of the rank. Seats that remain unfilled in the 1st round of counselling will be filled by the second round of counselling. Latest Update –The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday re-opened the application form correction window for applicants who have appeared in the NEET UG 2020 on September 13, 2020 on its official website.

Those who score at least 50 percentile in NEET will be considered as pass, however, candidates will be selected based on merit. Counselling will be conducted after the result is announced.

Who is Eligible for UG NEET Counselling 2020?

  • Applicants who scored minimum 50th percentile (40th percentile for SC/ ST/ OBC and 45th percentile for general-physically handicapped) in NEET 2020 are eligible to take part in Counselling process.
  • Further, the ministry releases a list of qualified Applicants under AIQ excluding applicants from Jammu and Kashmir to take part in 15% AIQ Counselling.
  • Eligible aspirants must register themselves on the MCC website within the stipulated time for NEET 2020 counselling.

NEET UG Counselling Process

Applicants who taking part in NEET Counselling for 2020 must be aware of the latest updates and complete process. The MCC NEET UG Counselling procedure will include some processes such as registration, counselling fee, seat allotment, etc.

I. Register

  1. Students need to register, without registration process applicants cannot fill in the course and college option
  2. For registration Go to the official website, enter details and login Click here MCC
  3. Once the registration process is over, applicants can get USer Id & Password through his/her mobile number and email ID.
  4. After filling the registration form successfully, applicants will need to pay the NEET UG Counseling registration fee as well. The registration fee is nonrefundable. Candidates can pay fees through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking.

II. Selection and Locking of Choice

  1. As per preference, Applicants can fill in the choice of college and courses
  2. Once selected, Check your choice again now click on the ‘save’ button to lock choices
  3. Please note that choices will not be considered as locked until saved and locked so don’t forget to locked choice.

III. Seat Allotment Result

  1. Once choices are locked, After few days, seat allotment results will announce by authorities.
  2. Candidates can have a look at the allotment result as they are sent an SMS or mail regarding the same. It provides details of the allotted colleges and courses.

IV. Editing and Locking

  1. Candidates who desire to alter the choice of allotted seats may do so
  2. One must log in to the official website with credentials in order to alter the choices
  3. Once alteration/editing (if any) is done, the choice must be locked once again

V. Report to Allotted Colleges

  1. In order for the Applicants to confi]rm the seats, they must report to the allotted colleges once seat allotment is done.
  2. For seats to get confirmed at the allotted college, candidates must pay the initial fee thereby completing the admission procedures
  3. If the candidate misses being present at the allotted college within the specific time frame, seats will be transferred automatically to the next inline
  4. The original documents to be submitted are as below:
    1. Class 10 Mark sheet and certificate – (date of birth)
    2. Class 12 Mark sheet and certificate
    3. NEET Admit Card 2020
    4. NEET Rank letter or Scorecard
    5. Valid ID proof(Aadhaar/PAN card/Passport/Driving License)

    7. Allotment letter(provisional)

  5. 8 passport sized photographs (Same as the one affixed on the application form)
