NEET Application Form 2024 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the NEET 2024 application form soon on ntaneet.nic.in. NEET application form will available only on online mode at official website i.e.  ntaneet.nic.in. To Get the NEET application form 2024, candidates need to register themselves before the last date of registration. Officials have not released the NTA NEET 2024 exam date but we expect it may be announced soon. The application form of NEET-UG 2024 can be filled by follow five simple steps  that is NEET registration, filling of application, uploading of scanned images {Sign or Passport Size photo}, payment of application fee, and a printout of the confirmation page. Last year, more than 15 lakh applicants had registered for NEET-UG exam.

NTA NEET 2024 official notification may release in the first week of January 2024. The Education Minister has also said that the team will have a discussion about conducting NEET 2024 in an online mode and will release the dates of all the events accordingly. NTA will release all important dates about NEET 2024, after that the online application process for NEET 2024 will start. NTA also provides a facility of NEET application form correction window to improve your wrong details fill in the form such as personal info, academic, contact, uploaded images and others. NEET correction window 2024 may be available in the mid week of January.

Eligibility Criteria for NEET Application Form 2024

Before applying for the exam, students must check NEET 2024 eligibility criteria set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Only those students who will satisfy the eligibility criteria will allow to appear in the exam. As per National Test Agency, students willing to appear in NEET 2024 should qualify the eligibility criteria mentioned below.

Nationality – Students who are Indian nationals, OCI (Overseas citizens of India), and NRIs can fill this application form.

Qualifying Exam – Students must have passed the 10+2 exam or its equivalent from an University. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology should have been mandatory subjects in the qualifying exam.

Qualifying Marks – Students must get at least 50% marks in case of General category, 45% for General-PH category and 40% marks for SC/ST & OBC category in the qualifying exam.

Age Limit – The minimum age limit for the applicant should be 17 years as on 31st Dec, 2021. There is no current upper age limit for NEET.

How To Fill NEET Application Form 2024?

    1. First of all students open official website ntaneet.nic.in
    2. After that Students need to register themselves. To register for NEET 2024, candidates must enter all required information such as name, mother’s name, father’s name (in capital letters) as given in the Class 12 Board application etc.
    3. To complete the NEET registration, candidates must verify the details and submit.
    4.  After that students need to choose a password, retype the same, enter a security question and chose the answer. Keep the security question and answer safe as this may be required to retrieve the password in case a candidate forgets it.
    5. After that candidates must click on the OTP verification to verify contact details.
    6. With successful registration for NEET, the provisional application number will be displayed. This must be noted down this ID will use as login ID.
    7. Now Filling up the NEET 2024 application form. It is mandatory to fill all required details as mentioned in the Class 10 certificate.
    8. Review of NEET Application Form 2024 before final submission of application form
    9. Now You need to Upload all document as per instruction.

      Passport Photograph: It must be passport size with a white background having the name of the candidate and date of photograph underneath the image. Size of the file can be 10 KB to 200 KB in JPEG format.

      Signature: This must be done with a black ink pen on a white paper and should be scanned to a file with size 4 KB to 30 KB in JPG format.

      Class 10 certificate: The scanned image of the document should be in JPG format and the size of the image should be between 100 KB and 300 KB.

      Left-hand thumb impression: Candidates must upload a digital image of left-hand thumb impression on a white paper with blue ink in JPG format and the size should be between 10 KB and 50 KB.

      Postcard size photo: Apart from the passport size photo, candidates are required to upload postcard size photograph in JPG format with size between 50KB and 300 KB.

    10. After that you need to pay application fee through online. Keep the proof of payment in the form of transaction ID/ receipt in case of online payment safe till admission is complete.
    11. Finally You Need to Print the NEET Acknowledgement receipt. Once the application fee is paid, a confirmation page or acknowledgement receipt will generate. This means that the application of NEET 2024 has been successfully submitted.

NEET Syllabus 2024

The Syllabus of NEET 2024 will provide by Medical Council of India (MCI). Students will be able to prepare for the entrance test from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects studied in 11th and 12th level. Physics- It will contain Laws of Motion, Electromagnetic Waves, Electrostatic, Behavior of Perfect Gas and Kinetic Theory, Electronic Devices, Dual Nature of Matter and Radiation, Properties of Bulk Matter, etc.

Chemistry – Some topics will be some basic concept of chemistry, Hydrogen, Equilibrium, Alcohols, Electro Chemistry, P-Block Elements, Surface Chemistry, Electrochemistry, Phenols and Ethers, etc.

Biology – Some basic topics will be Human Physiology, Reproduction, Plant Physiology, Cell Structure and Function, Ecology & Environment, Diversity in Living World, Biology and Human Welfare, etc.

NEET Exam Pattern 2024

Those who plan to ace the exam should be aware of the accurate exam pattern. Students can refer to the overview of NEET 2024 Exam Pattern mentioned below –

  •  The NEET 2024 paper may be held in offline – Pen and paper mode. Due to covid 19 crisis, authority may be conducted exam online
  • Exam Paper will available in various languages – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, Odia, Assamese, Telugu, Urdu and Kannada.
  • The Exam paper will have objective type of questions.
  • There will be total of 180 questions in the paper.
  • The exam will be of total 720 marks.
  • 4 marks will be given for each correct answer. For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted.

NTA has not made any announcement regarding NEET 2024 Syllabus Reduction. However, based on the 30% reduction decided by CBSE from class IX to XII candidates can expect the following topics to be removed from NEET syllabus.  S we can assume that official may reduce following topics.
