Selection Process 2024
Candidates, the selection process of the J&K Police constable consists of three steps. Here, the first step is the Physical Endurance Test (PET) where the candidates are put through various physical activities and they have to clear the basic mark in them. Then, the Physical Standard Test takes place. Lastly, the previously cleared candidates go through a written test, and then the merit list is declared. In the points below, the detailed requirements are mentioned.
Physical Endurance Test:-
- The candidates have to run a long race, which is 1600 m for males and 1000 m for females. Both males and females have to complete it in 6 minutes.
- Males now have to do 20 pushups and the females have to participate in Shot Put (4kg), where they have to cover a distance of 14.5 feet in three attempts.
Physical Standard Test:-
Here, only the measurement of Height, Weight, and Chest takes place. Along with this, candidates also have to bring their documents for verification.
Written Examination:-
In the end, a written exam of the qualified candidates takes place. The question paper consists of 100 Multiple-Choice Questions and two hours are given for the same.
