Eligibility Criteria For CSIR NET 2025

The following eligibility requirements must be satisfied by candidates who want to participate in the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research National Eligibility Test 2025 Examination:

Education Qualification

• You must have a Master’s degree or its equivalent from an accredited university or institution, such as Integrated Integrated BSc-MS, in order to apply to this program.
• If you are a general, EWS, OWS-NCL, or physically or visually challenged applicant, you must have at least 55% of your Master’s degree; if you are a SC, ST, or other category, you must have at least 50%.
• You are only eligible to apply for the Lectureship if your MSc (PhD) was completed before September 19, 1991. At least 50% of the marks must be yours.

CSIR NET 2025 Exam Date

The National Testing Agency formally announces the December 2025 exam date for CSIR NET.
