RGUKT IIT Admission – AP RGUKT IIIT BTech Admission 2024 or AP RGUKT IIIT Admission 2024 notification has been published by Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledges Technologies, Andhra Pradesh on its official website, rgukt.in. Applicants who have passed 10th class can check details and apply for the AP RGUKT IIIT admission at admission web portal. Aspirants can apply online for admission in IIIT AP RGUKT Integrated B.Tech Program at (a) Nuzvid IIIT, (b) RK Valley (Idupulapaya) IIIT, Srikakulam and (c) Ongole IIIT campuses.

In the month of August, Andhra Pradesh’s Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) will announce the admission notification, and AP RGUKT will accept online applications from qualified and interested students for admission to the first year of a six-year integrated B.Tech program in newly established RGUKT campuses in Andhra Pradesh for the academic year 2024.

Andhra Pradesh RGUKT IIIT B.Tech Admission 2024

On the RGUKT Constituent Institutes’ official website, the notification for admission to the integrated B.Tech. program, which lasts for six years, has been posted. The details of the notification would be made available on the university’s website, www.rgukt.in. For information and updates, parents and students are encouraged to regularly visit the university website.

Eligibility for Admission

Regular students who successfully completed the SSC or an equivalent examination for their tenth class in 2022. a) Candidates must have completed the SSC (10th class) or an equivalent exam held in 2024 and recognized by the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State.

b) Candidates must be at least 18 years old on December 31, 2024, or 21 years old for students in the SC and ST categories. c) International students must hold an OCI or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) card and be of Indian nationality.

Selection Procedure

In addition to adhering to the State’s Statutory reservations, merit in the 10th grade GPA and grades in each subject will be considered for admission.

Selection Method

(a) In accordance with Presidential Order 1974, admissions will be determine by merit based on each subject’s grade and Grade Point Average (GPA). In accordance with Statute 13 (3), the government will add a deprivation score of 0.4 to the 10th-class GPA of applicants from non-residential Government Schools, such as the Zilla Parishad, Municipal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, AP Model Schools, and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Schools, in order to help students from economically and socially disadvantaged groups gain admission.

b) In the event of multiple applications, the most recent one will be taken into account.

c) After the reevaluation and recount, the deadline for sending the hard copy of the SSC grade card and marks memo.

d) In case of a tie in GPA marks, it will be resolved by adopting the following options in that sequence:
i. Higher grade in Mathematics,
ii. Higher grade in General Science, iii. Higher grade in English,
iv. Higher grade in Social Studies,
v. Higher grade in 1st Language,
vi. The older aspirants as per the Date of Birth,
vii. The lowest random number obtained from the admit card number.

The following option(s) will not be checked if the tie is resolve using any of the check-ins in the preceding chronological order. e) Resolving using a random number involves the following steps: applicants for the SSC, NIOS, and OSSC. The reminder of “253 x [first 5 digits of the hall ticket number] divided by the last 5 digits of the hall ticket number” will be used to generate the random number.

Admission Procedure

Ongole and Srikakulam Campuses in Andhra Pradesh will accept students based on a 371-seat merit list. Only 85% of seats are available to AP students, while the remaining 15% are open to students from both states.

a) The Integrated B.Tech. Program’s first-year admissions will be determined by merit based on each subject’s grade point average (GPA) and state statutory reservations.

In order to give socioeconomically disadvantaged students more weight in the admissions process, applicants who attend non-residential government schools like Zillaparishad, Municipal, Kendriya Vidyalaya, AP Model Schools, and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Schools must have a deprivation score of 0.4 for the year, as required by Statute 13(3).

b) The government will make a special allocation of one seat for each unrepresented mandal for the years 2022 and 2021. These seats will be filled using the reservation rule, pending an amendment to Statute 13 of the RGUKT Act, 2008.

c) According to Presidential Order 371 Article D, which is in accordance with Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014, admission to 85% of the total available seats will be reserve for the relevant local university in the area where the Institute is locate. The remaining 15% of seats will be open to all applicants from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Admission of students from other States and International Students

a) Students from states other than Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including the children of Indians working in the Gulf, international students, and non-resident Indian students, are eligible for supernumerary seats up to 5% of the time. Affirmation will be based on merit in the imprints/grades acquired in tenth standard assessment.

Only applicants who received a minimum of 70% of the required marks will be consider for admission. b) Students from other states and the children of Indians working in the Gulf countries pay Rs. 1,36,000. c) International and NRI students pay a yearly tuition of Rs. 3,00,000/-.

d) Only through the RGUKT website should applicants from states other than Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, children of Indians working in the Gulf, and international and non-resident Indian students apply for admission. The institute website provides a separate link for this purpose.

e) Students from states other than AP and Telangana must pay Rs. 150 for the application. f) There is a US$ application fee for international and NRI children of Indian workers in Gulf countries: 25.00. g) International students, NRI students, and children of Indian workers in the Gulf should pay the application fee in the form of a Demand Draft made out to “Registrar, RGUKT, State Bank of India, IIIT campus-Gachibowli, Hyderabad.”

Note: If it turns out later that a student gained admission by providing false information of any kind, the university reserves the right to revoke that student’s admission.

Rules of Reservation

a) According to Presidential Order 371 Article D, which is in accordance with Section 95 of the A.P. Reorganization Act, 2014, admission to 85% of the total seats that are available will be given to the relevant local university in the area where the Institute is locate. The remaining 15% of seats will be open to applicants from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Refer to Annexure-1).

b) Subject to any changes or amendments made by the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the rules of reservation for various categories, both local and unreserved, are as follows.

i. 15% for SC, 6% for ST, 7% for BC-A, 10% for BC-B, 1% for BC-C, 7% for BC-D, and 4% for BC-E Physically Handicapped (PH): 3%; Armed Forces Children (CAP): 2%; NCC: 1%; and Sports: 0.5 percent.
iii. Where women candidates are available, a horizontal reservation of 33 1/3 percent in favor of women. Candidates will be made in each category (OC, SC, ST, BC, and Special Categories).

iv. Only certificates issued by the State Medical Board are acceptable for PH candidates. Certificates issued by the respective District Boards are acceptable for the Sports and CAP categories. These limitations apply at the state level.
