- Citizens will not be allowed to step out of their homes unnecessarily
- Only essential services such as medical stores, clinics, hospitals, milk and vegetable shops will be allowed to operate.

According to the Kerala Police, for those who have to go out for essential work, the online pass system has been implemented from Saturday evening. With this, people can travel for emergency purposes by obtaining a pass from the police, he said. However, e-passes will not be provided to everyone who applies for it, Kerala DGP Loknath Behera clarified on Sunday. The people employed in the manufacturing sector should be transported in a special vehicle by the contractor or the hirer. The self-declaration form needs to be carried on your person in case of emergency travel. The DGP said that the pass is mandatory for those coming to work.

- Now read all the necessary instructions related to the application of e-pass
- A link named ‘e-Pass Management System’ will appear on your screen.
- Click on the link and you will be redirected to a new window.
- Now click on Apply Kerala Lockdown E Pass on the top right corner of your screen.
- You will be redirected to a registration form that will ask you to enter your mobile number and captcha code.
- Enter your mobile number and captcha code and click on generate OTP.
