Tecno Phantom X2 5G Review: In the Indian market, Tecno is well-known for its low-cost devices. The “PHANTOM X 2 5G” writing is embossed on the black, matte-finished box that comes with the Tecno Phantom X2 5G. The curved display works well and has good viewing angles as well. Although it isn’t necessary, it would have been nice if Tecno had implemented edge lighting similar to Motorola’s to fully utilize the display. Accidental touches are one drawback of curved displays. The Phantom X2 5G does not do a good job of rejecting palm touches, but the Realme 10 Pro+’s anti-mistouch algorithm did a good job of fighting those off. When attempting to take photos with just one hand, this was quite a nuisance.

Performance

The MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor is the engine that powers the Phantom X2 5G. It is available in a single model with 256GB of storage and 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM, as previously stated. The chipset depends on the 4nm creation process. It is a processor with octa-cores and a clock speed of 3.05 GHz. It is unfortunate that the Phantom X2 5G uses HiOS V12.0, which is based on Android 12, as Android 13 is currently available and should have been installed by default. Camera

It’s hard to miss the triple-rear camera setup at the back of the Phantom X2 5G. The older model’s 50-megapixel retractable portrait camera is not available to the device. It has a primary camera with 64 megapixels and a 13 megapixel ultrawide angle camera that also shoots macros. The camera setup is complete by a 2-megapixel shooter at the end. A 32-megapixel camera for taking selfies is held in place on the front of the device. The camera app’s menus are simple to use. The AI Cam photo mode assists in automatically detecting the scene.
