Ram Setu Release date – According to sources, the much-awaited film Ram Setu starring Akshay Kumar is slated to release in theaters in Diwali 2022. On April 28, the actor took to social media to announce the first glimpse of his upcoming feature film. Many are excited about the film, and it is one of the most sought-after films of the year. The film will release in Hindi as well as in English versions. The film will feature Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Raj Vishwakarma, as well as Nushrat Bharucha as lead actors. About Ram Setu:
राम सेतु भगवान राम और उनकी वानर सेना द्वारा सीता माता को रावण से मुक्त करने के लिए तमिलनाडु, भारत के दक्षिण-पूर्वी तट से रामेश्वरम द्वीप और श्रीलंका के उत्तर-पश्चिमी तट पर मन्नार द्वीप के बीच बनाई गई एक श्रृंखला (मार्ग) है। इससे ज्ञात होता है कि किसी समय यह पुल भारत और श्रीलंका को भूमि मार्ग से जोड़ता था। हिंदू पुराणों की मान्यताओं के अनुसार इस पुल का निर्माण अयोध्या के राजा श्री राम की सेना के दो सैनिकों द्वारा किया गया था, जो वानर थे, जिनका वर्णन मुख्य रूप से रामायण में नल-निल नाम से मिलता है।
पुल 48 किलोमीटर (30 मील) लंबा है और मन्नार की खाड़ी (दक्षिण-पश्चिम) को पाक जलडमरूमध्य (पूर्वोत्तर) से अलग करता है। कुछ रेतीले समुद्र तट सूखे हैं और इस क्षेत्र में समुद्र बहुत उथला है, कुछ स्थानों पर केवल 3 फीट से 30 फीट (1 मीटर से 10 मीटर) है, जिससे नेविगेशन मुश्किल हो जाता है। यह कथित तौर पर 15 वीं शताब्दी तक पैदल चलने योग्य था, जब तक कि तूफान ने चैनल को गहरा नहीं किया। मंदिर के शिलालेखों के अनुसार, राम सेतु पूरी तरह से समुद्र के पानी के ऊपर स्थित था, जब तक कि 1480 ई. वाल्मीकि द्वारा प्राचीन भारतीय संस्कृत महाकाव्य रामायण में सबसे पहले इस पुल का उल्लेख किया गया था, जिसमें राम ने अपनी वानर (बंदर) सेना के लिए लंका तक पहुंचने और अपनी पत्नी सीता को राक्षस राजा रावण से बचाने के लिए इसे बनाया था।
