Considering its size, the Vieste 300 is not a particularly large scooter, but it has the perfect kinds of cuts, creases, and shapes to exude loads of road presence. The Yamaha Aerox and the BMW C 400 GT are the only two genuine maxis available right now, costing Rs. 1.39 lakh and Rs. 10.4 lakh, respectively. The most recent arrival fills the void between these two and simultaneously launches a new brand. Keeway, a sibling brand of Benelli with Chinese ownership and a Hungarian registration, made its debut on the Indian market with the Vieste 300 maxi-scooter for Rs 2.99 lakh.
A maxi-scooter promises to be roomier and more comfortable, to function more quickly, and to provide a more opulent experience than its more conventional, more inexpensive predecessor. The Vieste has adequately covered a few of these locations. Some people, not so much. The pretty decent 278cc motor handles the performance element. About Keeway Vieste 300 Review
There are quite a few vibrations at idle, but as you’re moving, the engine smoothes out significantly, so it only becomes a problem when you’re stopped for a lengthy at a red light. Despite the surprisingly poor fuel economy ratings, the ride is rather comfortable because to the smooth engine and the CVT’s ease of use. The huge 12-litre fuel tank also guarantees that the ride lasts longer.

The engine operates precisely as predicted by the calculations when driving. It accelerates really quickly off the line and builds up speed quickly as well, almost reaching 100–110 kmph. The engine seems unrestricted even while travelling at a steady 80 to 90 kph on the motorway, enabling you to make swift overtakes. It’s interesting that we could ride it at a top speed of 125kmph on a broad, deserted stretch of road.
Handling
For a scooter, the Vieste 300 weighs 147 kilograms (kerb). On the other hand, when it’s in motion, its impressive agility seamlessly hides the weight. When you’re zipping through traffic gaps, the scooter feels pretty light on its feet. Around corners, where it is relatively simple to lean and maintain the desired line, the story is similar. It’s just when you take on the long clearing corners at high rates that you feel the bike getting marginally unsteady.
Fuel Capacity
The 12-liter fuel tank on the Vieste 300 is typical for a maxi-scooter. Although the tank’s larger capacity results in fewer fuel stops and an impressive riding range of nearly 354 kilometers, its fuel efficiency of approximately 30 km/l is not particularly impressive.

Suspension
Although the scooter’s rigid suspension arrangement aids in its precise handling, it doesn’t provide a comfortable ride when the road surface becomes uneven. You can almost feel every surface flaw, such as road joints, stones, or protruding manhole covers, when riding it, especially at slower speeds. The stiff rear springs have a tendency to knock you out of your seat, even through rumble strips and large speed bumps. As a result, the only method to deal with low-amplitude undulations is to ride quickly through them, which reduces the shock’s strength.

The Vieste’s incredibly high price, which is difficult to justify considering the exclusivity it offers, is one of the main weaknesses in its defence. It is the most expensive scooter in India, only the BMW C 400 GT is more costly, with an on-road price of Rs 3.69 lakh (Delhi). That price puts it above the most costly Chrome version of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, for comparison.
