Benefit Amount Under Rythu Bandhu Scheme

The number of mutations in agricultural properties has also increased. As a result, more parcels of land are being cultivated. For this reason, the Chief Minister of Telangana has increased the Rythu Bandhu amount by 1000 per acre. Now under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 5000 per acre is provided to the farmers. Earlier this amount was Rs 4000 per acre. The number of beneficiaries is increasing with each cycle of this scheme. The amount required in 2019-20 was Rs 5100 crore, in 2020-21 the required amount was Rs 6900 crore and in 2021-22 the required amount was Rs 7508 crore.

This year the benefit amount under the Rythu Bandhu scheme will be transferred to the bank account of the farmers by 25 June 2021. About 59.26 lakh farmers will get benefit from this scheme. Through the implementation of the Rythu Bandhu Scheme, the Telangana government is providing financial incentives to the farmers to improve their financial condition and make them self-reliant. Through this scheme, farmers will get Rs 4000 per hectare of land along with many other benefits.
