She graduated from Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi, after receiving her education at Rishi Valley School in Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. Hydari wanted to be an actress from a young age. She stated, “After finishing my studies at Lady Shri Ram College in Delhi, I started working in the South Film Industry and decided to move to Mumbai and try my luck in Bollywood. Aditi Rao Hydari became very popular after her acting in Sudhir Mishra’s romantic thriller, Yeh Saali Zindagi (2011), a role that grossed her the Screen Award for Best Actress in a supporting character. She has since played supporting characters in many Hindi movies including the musical Rockstar (2011), the romantic comedy Khoobsurat (2014) and the thriller Wazir (2016). At the age of 17, Hydari met Mishra, with whom she had her first serious relationship. She wed him when she was 21 years old, but when she made her Bollywood debut, she kept the wedding a secret. Despite their separation, the two remain close friends and have maintained contact over time.

Career
Aditi Rao Hydari started her career as a dancer when she became a person of Leela Samson’s Bharatanatyam dance member ‘Spanda’. In 2007 she signed her 1st Tamil film by director Sharada Ramanathan. That film was called ‘Sringaram’. One of the reasons for which Aditi was selected for the character was her preternatural coincidence with dancer Shobana Chandrakumar Pillai. In 2011 she starred in a film called ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi’ which was directed by Sudhir Mishra. This film had many of sensual scenes between Aditi Rao Hydari and Arunoday Singh. Aditi was respected for her acting in the film.

In the same year, she played a supporting character in Imtiaz Ali’s Rockstar.
