Eligibility Criteria of TSP Scholarship
The student must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the scholarship:-
- The student must be a domicile of West Bengal state.
- The applicants belonging to minority communities are eligible for this scholarship.
- He/She must be reading in class 11th to PhD level.
- The student must have passed his/her previous qualifying exam of Board/University with less than 50% marks (50% or more marks are not eligible).
- The family annual income of the student should be less than Rs.2 Lakhs.
- Only two children of a family can apply for this award.
- The applicants pursuing regular courses are eligible for this scholarship.
- The selected applicants must not be receiving any other scholarship while applying for this scholarship.
- After submitting the application form the students must take a print out of the application. This print out must be submitted at the concerned institute along with a bank passbook and final income certificate.

- Recent Photograph
- Domicile of West Bengal Certificate
- Minority certificate (Issued by a competent authority)
- Mark-sheet of last qualifying examination

- The West Bengal Minorities’ Development and Economic Corporation provides students with economic grants in the form of financial assistance.

TSP Scholarship Application Procedure
The TSP Scholarship Scheme is a government-sponsored program that offers financial assistance to students studying in India. Eligible candidates must be residents of India, have completed at least one year of undergraduate study, and be registered as voters. Furthermore, they must also be full-time students at a recognized university or college in India. Applications for the scholarship scheme are accepted online through tsp.wbmdfc.co.in on the last date of December 2020. Candidates who meet all eligibility requirements will receive an offer letter from the bank soon after applying online; those who don’t receive an offer can still attend any official application event organized by the bank during this period to submit their application form manually.
