The government of the state has announced the Karnataka Scholarship 2024. State Scholarship Portal (SSP), Karnataka is a state portal that covers all the scholarship schemes offered by the state government to provide financial aid for the education of the students of the underprivileged sections. SSP portal is a single application portal for all the pre-matric and post-matric scholarships provided by the different departments of the State. Kar Pre / Post Matric Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- The first and the foremost condition is that the annual income of parents or guardians of the student must not exceed Two and Half lakh. This makes them eligible for the scholarship.
- The scholarship can also be availed by all the children of the same family.
- The scholarships can be availed for studying in any recognized post matriculation or postsecondary courses in recognized institutions. The only exceptions are certain training courses like Aircraft Maintenance Engineer’s Courses, Private Pilot License courses etc.
- For students belonging to Scheduled Tribes community and having passed the matriculation or higher secondary are eligible for the scholarship. The same if have passed any higher examination of a recognized university are also eligible.
- Employed students who are on leave without pay may also apply.
- Students studying via correspondence course are also eligible.
- The students must not be holding any other scholarship or stipend from the government.
- Students who have received coaching in any exam from the government are also NOT eligible for Karnataka Scholarship 2024.

SSP pre Matric Scholarship scheme is offered to those students who are studying from class 1st to class 10th. There are various kinds of schemes in pre matric level according to the various categories of students. It has to be noted that only the students of Karnataka can apply under this scheme. SSP Karnataka Post Matric Scholarship
SSP Karnataka post matric scholarship is provided to those students who are pursuing their education beyond class 10th. This scholarship is offered to OBC, SC, ST etc category aspirants. - Now you have to select your caste/class
- Now you are required to select your district and taluk of your Institute/college
- After that, if you are having your Aadhaar number then you have to click on yes
- Now you have to enter all your Aadhaar related information and click on submit
- After that, you are required to enter your email id and mobile number
- An OTP will be sent on your mobile number which you have to enter into the OTP box
- After that, you have to provide your caste certificate details like your religion, category, caste certificate number, etc
