ONGC Scholarship 2024- Offices of the National Company Limited (ONGC), in association with the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), is all set to offer scholarships to students aspiring to pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree in petroleum related disciplines in any university of India. The scholarships are available for the year 2024 and will be given on a first come, first serve basis.

Today, we will share with all of you the Information of the ONGC Award scheme which is presented by the organization of Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Limited. 500 Candidates of the General and OBC categories will be benefited from this scheme. However, from the category of Schedule Caste and Scheduled Tribe, 1000 Students will be benefited. The Students will be able to get Rupees 4000 per month for continuing studies. ONGC Scholarship 2024

ONGC Award is an exclusive scholarship opportunity for Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC and General categories who are studying in the first year of Engineering, MBBS, MBA or Master in Geophysics/Geology programmed. Run by the ONGC (Oil and Natural Gas Company) Limited, under its CSR initiative, the Award rewards 2000 meritorious Candidates every year. ONGC Award Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must follow the following eligibility criteria to apply for the Reward:-

• The Candidates belonging to OBC, SC/ ST, and economically weaker sections of general categories can apply to the ONGC reward.
• The students should be Indian citizens.
• They should belong to the OBC, SC/ ST, or general category.
• They should be pursuing their first year of BE [Bachelor of Engineering], MBBS [Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery], MBA [Master of Business Administration], or master in geology/geophysics.
• The students should be pursuing regular full-time courses.
• The AICTE, MIC, UGC, AIU, state educational boards, state government, and central government should approve the institutions.
• He/ She should secure a minimum score of 60% in the Class XII board Test.
• The students should have secured a minimum of 6.0 out of 10 points in GPA/CGPA.
• They should not be over 30 years of age.
• The family income should not exceed INR 2,00,000 per Yearly for students belonging to the OBC and general categories.
• The family income should not exceed INR 4,50,000 per Yearly, INR 37,500 per month, for Candidates belonging to the SC/ ST category.

ONGC Sports Scholarship Amount

The Department have announced the scholarship amount differently for all the levels of players. In total, the Department will be giving out 250 Reward . The students belonging to the following categories will receive the respective amounts as Declarer by the authorities:

ONGC Scholarship Benefits

The following benefits will be Given to the students in this scholarship:-

• The foundation will select 500 students for the OBC category, 500 Candidates from the general, and 1000 students from the SC/ST category to benefit from the ONGC Reward each year.
• The students Candidates should not be availing of benefits from any other Reward at the time of application.
• Selected Candidates will receive INR 4,000 per month, that is INR 48,000 per Yearly.
• The ONGC Foundation reserves 50% of the total scholarship seats for female Candidates.

Mandatory Documents

The students will have to submit the following documents for this Reward:-

• Passport size photographs
• Caste certificate (It should be in the English or Hindi language)
• Age proof (either birth certificate or class X Number sheet)
• Class XII number sheets (for students pursuing BE and MBBS)
• Graduation Number sheets (for students pursuing MBA and master’s in geology/geophysics)
• Yearly income certificate issued by the competent authorities (It should either be in the English or Hindi language)
• Bank Information containing the bank name, beneficiary’s name, bank branch, and IFSC code
• A copy of the PAN card.

How To Apply ONGC Sports Scholarship 2024 Online?

The students willing to apply for the reward need to follow the subsequent steps:

1. Go To the official portal of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited of India ONGC at ongcindia.com.
2. In the News and Updates Panel , tap on ONGC Sports Reward Scheme 2024 link.
3. On the newly opened reward page, tap on Click here to apply.
4. Click on the option of Apply for Reward.
5. The form will Appear up.
6. Enter all the Information of the students and fill out the form.
7. Upload the Needs documents.
8. Finally, Press on Submit.
