VNR VJIET Hyderabad- The Vignana Jyothi Society founded the Vallurupalli Nageswara Rao Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology in 1995. The Society was established as a non-profit organization in the year 1990. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and Andhra Pradesh have all given their approval to the college.

For 10 years, from 2018–19 to 2017–28, the University Grants Commission [UGC] gave an independent college status. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC] has awarded the college a “A” Grade for accreditation. The AP EAMCET result will be used as the basis for VNR VJIET Admission, which offers 9 UG and 13 PG engineering programmes. The UGC gave the institute a ten-year grant of autonomy. The institution was founded to have a positive impact on society via education. The institute was established by the Vignana Jyothi Society. Undergraduate and graduate programs are offered at the Hyderabad-based VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering & Technology.
