Lamborghini Revuelto Reviews- The Lamborghini Revuelto is a unique blend of various styles from different eras. It combines elements from iconic models like the Murcielago, with its distinctive front design, and the Diablo, with its curvaceous hips. The scissor doors and wedge shape are reminiscent of the Countach. While paying homage to its predecessors, the Revuelto sets itself apart by being a plug-in hybrid. Its powerful V-12 engine, positioned in the middle, is complemented by two electric motors on the front axle and another motor attached to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This results in an impressive total output of 1001 horsepower. Although this may not sit well with traditionalists, Lamborghini assures that the additional electrification only enhances the exhilarating experience of driving this supercar.
Lamborghini has just introduced the Revuelto, a V12 gas-electric hybrid that may appear to be another version of the Aventador. Some initial skeptical comments can be forgiven, as there are only slight variations in the bodywork between the Aventador and the Revuelto. However, it is important to note that every aspect of the Revuelto has either been extensively reengineered or completely redesigned from scratch.
Lamborghini Revuelto Reviews 2024
Introduced as the initial plug-in hybrid and series-production hybrid from Lamborghini, the Revuelto signifies a fresh chapter for Sant’Agata. After its impressive premiere at the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the commencement of full-scale manufacturing, Lamborghini has revealed that the model has already been sold out for a span of two years. Consequently, prospective buyers will now have to anticipate fulfillment of new orders until at least 2025. Although pricing has not been officially confirmed, it is anticipated that the Revuelto will have a starting price of £450k.
Lamborghini has announced its plans to introduce hybrid technology across its entire product range starting next year. The company aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 50 percent by 2025 and more than 80 percent by the end of the decade. The Revuelto model is expected to continue until the early 2030s, with the first all-electric Lamborghinis set to be unveiled before that time. In the meantime, the new model pays homage to the V12 engine, which is prominently displayed in the centre of the Revuelto’s open rear deck. According to senior designer Manuele Amprimo, they decided to celebrate this work of art as they are unsure if they will be able to use the V12 engine again. He explains that all of the design elements at the back of the car are dedicated to showcasing the engine.

This V12 engine is Lamborghini’s most potent one yet, delivering a remarkable 825PS and 725Nm of torque on its own. Paired with this exceptional engine is a specially designed eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) and a three-motor hybrid system. The combined output of the V12-hybrid drivetrain is an astonishing 1015PS. Additionally, the electric system includes a 3.8kWh battery pack that enables the vehicle to travel up to 10km in EV-only mode.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
When it comes to performance, this bull certainly doesn’t dance like a ballerina. Its mid-mounted 6.5-liter V-12 engine is naturally aspirated and packs a punch with 814 horsepower, revving up to a redline of 9500 rpm. The powertrain includes three electric motors, with two powering the front wheels and the third integrated into the eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to assist the V-12 gas engine on the rear axle.
Altogether, this powertrain delivers an impressive total output of 1001 horsepower, making it the most powerful Lamborghini ever produced. In fact, it outperforms every other plug-in hybrid on the market, including the Ferrari SF90 Stradale which boasts 986 horsepower. While we haven’t had the chance to test-drive the Revuelto yet, Lamborghini claims it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph in just 2.5 seconds and achieve a top speed exceeding 217 mph.

Comfort, and Cargo
The Revuelto is a unique car with only two seats due to the Italians’ decision to place 12 cylinders where the backseats would typically be located. The design of the Revuelto’s cockpit resembles that of a space craft rather than a traditional automobile. It features a steering wheel equipped with four rotors that control various drive modes, while additional buttons are responsible for activating turn signals and initiating launch control. According to Lamborghini, the Revuelto offers more headroom and legroom compared to the Aventador, which shouldn’t be challenging given its spaciousness. In addition to space behind the seats that can accommodate a single golf bag, there is also frunk space available capable of easily holding two carry-on luggage bags.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The Revuelto stands out from other Lambos due to its predominantly digital interface. Most of the vehicle’s controls, including climate functions, are managed through an 8.4-inch infotainment touchscreen. Additionally, there is a 9.1-inch screen on the passenger-side dash that displays various information related to motion sickness, such as speed, drive gear, and torque distribution. Furthermore, a third 12.3-inch display is responsible for gauge-cluster duties. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come as standard features.

The Revuelto is equipped with a petrol-electric PHEV powertrain that combines a brand new V12 engine known as L545, only the third V12 architecture in the history of the marque. The standalone naturally aspirated V12 engine delivers 825 PS at 9,250 rpm and 725 Nm of torque at 6,750 rpm, with a rev limit of 9,500 rpm. Weighing in at 218 kg, this new V12 engine is 17 kg lighter than the one found in the Aventador and represents the marque’s lightest V12 engine to date.
The Revuelto features a brand-new 6.5-liter V12 engine, which is connected to three electric motors and a 3.8kWh lithium-ion battery. The V12 engine, which is naturally aspirated, generates 825hp and 725Nm of torque. When combined with the electric motors, the Revuelto produces a total power output of 1,015hp. This power is distributed to all four wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. The two electric motors in the front axle individually power each wheel, while the third motor mounted on the gearbox supplies power to the rear wheels based on the selected drive mode. According to Lamborghini, the Revuelto can accelerate from 0-100kph in just 2.5 seconds and has a top speed exceeding 350kph.

Design
The Revuelto maintains the distinctive Lamborghini design DNA with its sharp, bold, and lavish appearance. It features the iconic Y-shaped elements throughout the car, including the headlights and air intakes enclosed in large Y-shaped structures. The tail-lights also bear the same light signature as the high-mounted hexagonal-shaped exhausts on each side.
Interior
The vehicle still retains its signature scissor doors, however, they now lead to a completely redesigned interior that also incorporates the Y-shape design concept. The focal point of the interior is an 8.4-inch vertical touchscreen positioned in the front and center. It is complemented by a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 9.1-inch passenger-side display, both capable of simultaneously displaying identical information. With the introduction of these three screens, most physical buttons have been removed, with the exception of those found on the steering wheel.
