The Light Long Range variant and the e-AWD versions will come equipped with a larger 99.8-kWh pack. Opting for the top-spec GT-line trim reduces the estimated range to 270 miles per charge. In our 75-mph highway range test, the EV9 GT-Line achieved a distance of 240 miles, just below its estimated range of 270 miles.

During our test drive of the prototype, we found the front seats to be firm and the synthetic upholstery to feel a bit cheap. However, we hope that this is not the case for U.S.-spec models. The second-row captain’s chairs in the EV9 are similar to the front seats in terms of comfort and also offer heating, ventilation, and massaging functions. In terms of space, the third row in the back can comfortably accommodate adults, although some compromises may need to be made by those sitting in the second row in order to provide enough legroom. The EV9’s rear cargo space has a capacity of 20 cubic feet, which is almost as much as the Telluride. When both the second and third rows are folded flat, the cargo space can expand up to 82 cubic feet.
