About Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU)

A private university in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, India, named after the Sufi saint Bande Nawaz is known as Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU). Following the Karnataka Legislative Assembly’s acceptance of the Bill in February 2018, the Khaja Bandanawaz Educational Society formally formed it in accordance with the Khaja Bandanawaz University Act, 2018. The university is home to twenty institutions, including the recently established law college and colleges that were previously part of the Khaja Bandanawaz Educational Society, like the Khaja Banda Nawaz College of Engineering and Institute of Medical Sciences.

Syed Shah Khusro Hussaini, head of the Khaja Bandanawaz Educational Society, will serve as the institution’s first chancellor. Abdul Jaleel Khan M. Pathan (A. M. Pathan), a former vice chancellor of the Central University of Karnataka, will serve as the institution’s first vice chancellor. KBNU Gulbarga Admission

Admission to the undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programs at Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBNU) Gulbarga is done through the candidate’s qualifying examination (Q.E. ).

• Merit-based admission to the MBBS program is made possible by NEET-UG, whilst admission to the MD or MS programs is made possible by NEET-PG.
• The University accepts applicants for its B.Sc. and B.Com (General and Lateral) programs through KCET. Admission to the B.E./B.Tech program is based on KCET and KBNCET scores, which each account for 50% of seats.
• Admission to the M.Tech program is based on GATE or Karnataka PGCET score. While the M.Sc. program entrance exam is the K PG CET.
• After completing the prerequisite exam, candidates are accepted to the BA, MA, MSW, and Ph.D. programs at KBNU Gulbarga depending on their merit rank.
• Admission for the B.E. and B.Com. Lateral Programs is managed by KCET.
