About GATE
The Graduate Aptitude Exam in Engineering (GATE) is an examination conducted in India that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of many UG subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program and Job in Public Sector Companies. Eligibility Criteria Of GATE CCMT Counselling 2024
The GATE CCMT admission 2024 for candidate eligibility is as follows:
- Aspirant must have a valid GATE 2024 score.
- Candidate must acquire a minimum of 6.5 CGPA or 60percent marks in the qualifying exam (For General and OBC).
- For applicant belonging to the SC/ST/PwD category, the eligibility is set at a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 55percent marks.

Pre-Allotment Process
There is a pre-allotment process in the GATE CCMT admission 2024 session which applicant will have to be wary of. The pre-allotment steps are as follows:
- First, the applicant have to register their names on the official portal of CCMT.
- The CCMT registration fee for the general applicant is INR 2,200 and for OC/OB and INR 1,700 for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
- Enter all the correct and valid information asked by the site during registration.
- Applicant are allowed to change, reorder, delete or add courses or institutes as per their preferences.
