About Gautam Buddha University
Gautam Buddha University, informed by the Uttar Pradesh Act (9) of 2002, commenced its 1st academic session at its 511 acres lush green campus at Greater Noida in August 2008. The University is fully funded by the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority (NOIDA) and the Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA), the undertakings of the Government of UP. GBU University is recognized by the University Grants Commission under UGC Act and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities.

Eligibility Criteria of GBU Admission 2024
- For MSc: Applicant must be a graduate from a recognized university in a relevant stream with a minimum of 50percent marks (45percent for SC/ST) secured or equivalent achievement in grade system.
- For MA: The applicant must be a graduate from any stream from a recognized university with a minimum of 50percent marks (45percent for SC/ST) secured or equivalent achievement in the grading system.
Selection Criteria of GBU Admission form
- Admissions to MA programs would be made based on cut off.
- Admissions to M.Sc. courses would be made based on Gautam Buddha University Entrance Test (GBU-ET). Applicant would also be accepted through JAM scores.
Documents Required for GBU Admission
- Passport-sized colour photograph of the applicant.
- 10th and 10+2 passing certificate and mark sheets
- Category certificates, if applicable
- Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate for availing Scholarship, if needed
- Signature of the applicant
- JAM scorecard, if applied through these examinations
