ISRO YUVIKA 2022 program aims at providing basic knowledge of space technology, space science, and space applications to the youth. This program creates awareness among the youth who are the building blocks of the future of the country. The main objective of the program is to provide the youth with basic knowledge of space technology, space science, and space applications with an intention to arouse their interest in the emerging areas of space activities. Thus the aim of the Yuvika program is to create awareness among the youth who are the building blocks of the future of our nation. ISRO has chalked out this program to “Catch the Young. ISRO Young Scientist Program 2022 aims to select 150 students across the country who are studying in Class IX (Class 9) as of March 01, 2022, in a school located in the territory of India, from each State/Union Territory Minimum participation has been ensured. ISRO YUVIKA 2022 Important Dates

If you know a kid in class 9 who is interested in science and space, they can participate in ISRO’s Yuvika 2022 registration process. For more details visit www.isro.gov.in. If selected, the child will have to report to ISRO centers in Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Shillong, and Trivandrum. Those who have completed class 8th and are currently enrolled in class 9th are eligible for this program. Academic performance is used to make selections. ISRO Yuvika 2022 Eligibility Criteria

The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has released an announcement regarding the Young Scientist Program (YUVIKA), which aims to educate students about space science. Those who have completed class VIII and are currently studying in class IX can apply for the program. Selection is based on academic performance. The students from rural areas have been given special weightage in the selection criteria. The list of selected candidates from each state will be declared by the last week of March. Three students from each State/UT covering CBSE, ICSE, and State-Board syllabus will participate in the event every year.

  • Student’s marks in class 8 exam.
  • A student’s participation in a science fair (at school, district, state, or national level) organized by a school, district, state, or national government authority in the last three years.
  • Awards and equivalent in Olympiads/Science Competitions in the last three years (1 to 3 ranks at the School/District/State and above the level in the last three years)
  • Winners of sports competitions organized by a school, government, or an institution, or a registered sports association (ranked first to third at school, district, state, or national level in the last three years) in the last three years.
  • In the last three years, I have been a Scout and Guide/NCC/NSS member.
  • Results of an online quiz.

Steps for YUVIKA 2022 Registration

  • Visit the official website of ISRO at isro.gov.in.
  • Click on the link ‘Registration for Yuvika-2022’ on the login page.
  • Candidates have to register their email addresses using the link given on the website.
  • Candidates will receive a quiz after entering their email addresses.
  • Take part in the online quiz within 48 hours of registering for Yuvika – 2022 through e-mail.
  • Log on to Yuvika Portal at least 60 minutes after submitting the quiz and fill in all the required information.
  • Submit the online application form and save the filled form.
  • Upload the signed copy as well as all the required certificates before the registration deadline.
