Hyderabad’s Deccan College of Engineering & Technology (DCET) was founded by the Dar-Us-Salam Education Trust. In 1984, DCET established the first department for engineering bachelor’s degrees.B.E. programs are offered by DCET in eight subjects, while M.E./M.Tech degrees are offered in four. The MCA program is also offered at Deccan College Engineering & Technology (DCET). 620 students enroll per year in UG programmes, compared to 132 students for PG programs.Applications must be submitted online for admission to various courses.

The Telangana government’s TS EAMCET, a state-level entrance exam, serves as the foundation for admission to B.E. programs.The Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) is the method used to admit students to the MCA program.Admission to M.E./M.Tech programs is exclusively contingent on GATE and PGECET scores.

DCET Hyderabad B.E Admission 2023

A 4-year B.E. program is available from DCET in 8 fields. Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) results will be used to determine admission to the program.

A Higher Secondary Examination certificate from the CBSE or another recognized board, including Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science as required courses in addition to Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology, is the minimum educational need for applying. • The final test should be passed with an overall score of 50%.
• SC/ST applicants will receive a 5% relaxation in the prerequisite degree test.
• The TS EAMCET will fill 70% of the seats, while the other 30% will be filled through the management quota.
• Candidates will be accepted based on their performance in the qualifying test for Management seats.

DCET Hyderabad M.E/M.Tech Admission 2023

Courses leading to the M.E./M.Tech degree are provided by DCET and last two years. Candidates will be chosen through the Post-Graduate Engineering Common Entrance Test (PGECET) or GATE state level entrance test. The test will be given offline. The application cost is INR 400 for SC/ ST applicants and INR 800 for general candidates.

DCET Hyderabad M.E/M.Tech Eligibility Criteria:

• a minimum of 50% in an engineering bachelor’s degree with a 10+2+4 system.
• SC/ST applicants will receive a 5% relaxation in the prerequisite degree test.
• Students who only appear may seek for admission.

Deccan College of Engineering & Technology Hyderabad M.E/M.Tech Selection Criteria:

• The PGECET score will be used as the basis for selection.
• There will be 85% of the seats set aside for local candidates.
• A management seat reserve of 30% of the available seats will be filled on a merit basis.
• Applicants who have a valid GATE score may also submit an application. They don’t have to take the PGECET.

DCET Hyderabad MCA Admission 2023

Students having a graduation degree from any stream may apply for admission, and the institute provides MCA admission. The qualifying test should be passed with a minimum score of 50%.

Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET), a state-level entrance test, will be used to select candidates.

DCET Hyderabad MCA Eligibility Criteria:

DCET Hyderabad MCA Selection Criteria:

The ICET scores will be used to determine admission to the program. The TS ICET will be taken online. There will be 75 multiple-choice questions on the test, worth 200 points. Candidates must receive a minimum of 25% of the possible points to pass the test.
