Aston Martin Vanquish Features
Aston Martin has a long and impressive legacy of manufacturing luxurious, powerful sports cars with front-mounted engines. The brand had hinted at the possibility of a mid-engined vehicle with the stunning Vanquish concept. Unfortunately, this concept never came to fruition and was not put into production. If it had been, it would have marked a significant departure from Aston Martin’s traditional approach to designing sports cars. Regrettably, the project has been cancelled, leaving Aston Martin with the Vantage and DB12 sports cars as their remaining offerings. Nevertheless, these models are still highly deserving of admiration.

Engine & Performance
Aston Martin had intended to install an AMG-supplied twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 engine into the Vanquish, accompanied by two electric motors to create a plug-in hybrid powertrain. This would have been a significant departure from their original plan of using an in-house hybrid 3.0-liter V-6 engine. While the Vanquish would have shared a similar powertrain with the Valhalla, we doubt it would have generated the same impressive 937 horsepower. Additionally, we anticipated that it would feature a bonded aluminum spaceframe instead of the carbon-fiber tub utilized in the company’s high-performance cars.
Interior & Comfort
The Vanquish nameplate would have ventured into uncharted territory by adopting a mid-engine layout. Consequently, all our preconceived notions about the interior of this sports car would have been discarded, and we could only rely on speculation when it came to our expectations for its new design. We had received information suggesting that the cabin would be more spacious compared to Aston’s other mid-engine hypercars. However, apart from the increased passenger room, it is difficult to anticipate how the company would have chosen to furnish the Vanquish’s interior.

Infotainment System
The details regarding the infotainment system used in the Vanquish are purely speculative. Although it could have been similar to the setup seen in the Vantage sports car, which includes an 8.0-touchscreen primarily controlled via a rotary knob on the center console, we believe that the interface in the Vanquish might have been more advanced. Considering Aston’s approach with the Valhalla’s infotainment system, or lack thereof, it is possible that they prioritized enhancing the driving experience in the Vanquish rather than focusing on built-in touchscreens and mainstream connectivity features.
Aston Martin Vanquish Specification
The Vanquish utilizes a modified version of Aston’s internally developed hybrid engine, which combines a turbocharged V-6 with a considerable amount of electric assistance. While incorporating a hybrid six in this particular sector carries some risk, the company is not willing to compromise on performance, as it is expected to exceed 700 horsepower. The Vanquish will feature a bonded-aluminum spaceframe similar to the ones used in the brand’s existing models, with the arrangement of passengers and engine being reversed. Although the Vanquish shares its basic layout with the Valhalla and Valkyrie hypercars, it sets itself apart by being more affordable and produced in larger quantities.
