Selection Process Under AICTE Postgraduate Scholarship
The student must follow the following selection procedure in order to apply for the scholarship:-
- Scholarships will be provided to the applicants on a monthly basis.
- This scholarship will only be provided to the applicants for satisfactory academic performance and adherence to University/Institute norms/rules and regulations as applicable from time to time, certified by the Head of the Institute, and obligatory work.
- The applicant shall be required to give an undertaking to the effect that he/she would not leave the course midway.
- The Scholarship may be discontinued at any time for any kind of misconduct by the applicant, like involving in the act of ragging, misbehavior, etc.

Benefits of AICTE PG Scholarship
There will be various different benefits available for the postgraduate applicants who are participating in this scholarship opportunity presented by the organization. First of all, the applicants will be able to get a scholarship from the date of commencement of their classes till the date of competition of their classes or for exactly 24 months so that they can carry on their day to day activity without having to worry about their parents about the economic funds. They can only take participate in this scholarship if they are not taking economic assistance from any other scholarship.
Eligibility Criteria of AICTE PG Scholarship
To apply for this scholarship reward you will have to follow the following eligibility criteria:-
- The student must be a permanent and legal resident of India
- The student must be pursuing a PG course
- He/ She must have given GATE test.
- The student must not belong to the OBC category
- The student must have relevant certificates to support his or her claims.
- It will be obligatory for every post-graduate student to undertake 8 to 10 hours (per week) of work related to teaching and research activities as assigned to him/her by the Institute including tutorials, laboratory classes, development and maintenance of laboratories, assistance in research and development activities undertaken by faculty members, maintenance and operation of Computers and other central facilities, assistance in the library, etc.
- Foreign applicants, sponsored aspirants, and candidates admitted in PG Programmes are not eligible for the Scholarship.
Rewards Details
The following rewards will be available to the applicants applying for this scholarship scheme:-
- Rupees 12400 per month for a duration of 2 years or for the time period of completing the course will be provided to the aspirants.
- The applicants will also be liable to get an annual contingency grant of Rupees 20000.
