Aditya-L1 Successfully Performs- The second earth-bound manoeuvre of the Aditya-L1 spacecraft, India’s first solar mission, was completed successfully. The satellite was monitored by ISTRAC/ISRO ground stations in Mauritius, Bengaluru, and Port Blair throughout this operation. According to a tweet posted by ISRO on the social media network ‘X’ early on Tuesday, the new orbit achieved has a size of 282 km by 40225 km.

The following operation is scheduled for September 10 at 2:30 AM. After Chandrayaan 3’s successful moon soft landing on September 2, ISRO launched its new space mission. The first solar mission ever launched by ISRO, “Aditya-L1,” was placed into orbit to study the Sun from point L1. The first Earth-bound maneuver by ISRO’s Aditay-L1 was successfully finished on September 3.

Taking to X, ISRO revealed that the satellite is in good shape and performing as it should. The satellite will perform five maneuvers while in Earth-bound orbit for a total of 16 days. A trans-Lagrangian1 insertion procedure including Adiya-L1 will require 110 days. To get to the L1 position, the satellite must travel almost 15 million kilometers. Aditya-L1, India’s first solar mission, was launched by ISRO on September 2 from Sriharikota’s Satish Dhawan Space Center.
