Offline Classes from June 13, 2024

Online classes for school, students for the new academic year will commence on 13-06- 2024 and Offline classes will be conducted from 13-06- 2024. Education Department is awaiting guidelines from the central government on conducting offline classes in Telangana. The government has decide to get the ball rolling on all academic activities online from next month of 2024.

Telangana School Reopening SOPs should be followed

• Students must wear masks and sanitize their hands frequently in Schools.
• Physical distancing must be maintained inside the school campus.
• Classrooms must be sanitized regularly.
• Parents’ consent letter must be submitted before attending the offline classes in Schools.
• Students with any COVID 19 symptoms will not be allowed to attend the school classes.
• The state education minister, Sabitha Indra Reddy, said that it Telangana School Reopening’s decision had been taken after taking consent from the CM of TS.

Earlier, the Telangana government reopen the schools for Teachers from June 1st. The schools have reopen with proper COVID 19 guidelines and SOPs in Telangana. Schools across the state have reopen from 13-06- 2024 in a phase manner. The sequence of school reopening is in such a way that it the higher classes are resuming first.

Examination Schedule

According to the new academic calendar of 2023-24

• The Formative Assessment 1 (FA 1) should be done by 21/07/ 2024
• Formative Assessment 2 (FA 2) by 05/09/ 2024.
• The summative assessment 1 (SA1) will be done from 01/11/ 2024 to 07/11/ 2024.
• Formative Assessment 3 (FA 3) by 21/12/ 2024.
• Formative Assessment 4 (FA 4) by 31/01/2024 for 10th class and 28/02/2024 for 1st class to 9th class.
• The summative assessment 2 (SA2) will be done from 10/04/2024 to 17/04/2024.
• The Pre Final Exams will be done before 28/02/2024.
• The SSC Public Examinations will be conducted in Telangana in March/April, 2024.
