Kia Carens- The length of the Kia Carens is 4,540mm and it has a wheelbase of 2,780mm, which is 170mm longer than that of the Seltos. It is equipped with LED daytime running lights, LED headlamps, LED rear lights, and LED fog lamps. Additionally, Kia provides six airbags and nine other features as standard across all variants.

The interior of the car showcases a two-tone design, available in either Black and Beige or Triton Navy and Beige depending on the model. In addition to this, the cabin is equipped with front-seat ventilation, a multi-function steering wheel, a digital driver display, a 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting with 64 color options, a wireless charger, and electronically foldable middle-row seats for convenient access to the third row.

The Carens offers a range of engine options under the hood, including a 1.5-litre NA petrol, a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel mill. The previous 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine has been replaced by a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is paired with an iMT and seven-speed DCT unit. Additionally, the diesel engine now comes with an iMT unit instead of a manual gearbox, while the six-speed torque converter transmission remains unchanged.

The previous 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine has been replaced with a new and improved 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which is paired with an intelligent manual transmission (iMT) and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT) unit. Furthermore, the diesel engine now features an iMT unit instead of a manual gearbox, while the six-speed torque converter transmission remains unchanged. Kia is gearing up to launch the new car in India. The car will be called the Carens and it will be launched on 15th Feb 2022. It’s a 6/7-seater utility vehicle, which the brand calls a Recreational Vehicle (RV). It is essentially a cross-version of an SUV and MPV that will rival the likes of Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, Mahindra XV700, Toyota Urban Cruiser, and the SUV it is based on, the Hyundai Alcazar.

Kia Carens will go on sale in India on February 15th, the company announced this week.The three-row MPV was first introduced in December of 2021 and the company opened the order book for it in January of 2022.  The time, as per Kia Motors India, for the unveiling of the Carens is today, 12 PM.

Kia Carens will come with features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen system with connected technology, a fully digital instrument cluster, automatic AC, , front ventilated seats, sunroof, multiple driving modes, Bose sound system, electric double folding second-row seats, and more. The highlight< however, is Kia Carens’ standard safety features — six airbags, ABS, EBD, hill-start control, downhill-brake control, vehicle stability management, highline tyre pressure monitoring system, reverse parking sensors, all-four disc brakes, brake assist, and electronic stability control. In addition to these, the higher variants get rain-sensing wipers, front parking sensors, and reversing camera.
