Charan Kaur is reported to be 58 years old, and Balbir is 60.

In 2021, his album ‘Moosetape’ made history by being the first Indian album to surpass one billion streams on Spotify. He holds the record for the most number-one singles on the Billboard Indian Songs chart. Despite his musical success, the rapper faced controversy due to his provocative lyrics that often mocked religious beliefs and glorified gun culture. Legal issues arose in 2019 over his song ‘Jatti Jeonay Morh Di Bandook Wargi’ for its controversial lyrics. Tragically, Moosewala was fatally shot by unidentified attackers just days before his 29th birthday on May 29, 2022.
