Rishi Kalra Biography
Rishi completed his schooling at the Delhi Public School in Ghaziabad. He was a brilliant student from the beginning and excelled in academics as well as co-curricular activities. He was interested in science and mathematics and participated in various Olympiads and competitions.
Rishi faced a dilemma when he was in class 9. He was confused between three career options: engineering, medicine, or chartered accountancy. Rishi decided to go for engineering after consulting his teachers and parents. He started preparing for the JEE exam from class 9 itself.
Coaching and Preparation
Rishi joined a coaching institute in Ghaziabad to prepare for the JEE exam. He followed a strict schedule and studied for about 10 hours a day. He woke up at 7 am and studied from 8 am to 10 am. Then he took a break for an hour and resumed his studies from 11 am to 2 pm. In the afternoon, he studied from 3:30 pm to 6 pm and at night from 8:30 pm to 11 pm.
He also took care of his physical fitness and mental health during his preparation. Rishi worked out at home and played chess and badminton with his friends.
