Questions will be of the degree (graduation) level and will be designed to test knowledge of current events, everyday observations, and experience in their scientific aspect, as any educated person would expect. There will be questions on the test about
- India and its neighboring countries mainly pertaining to History, Culture, Geography, Polity, Economy, General Policy & Scientific Research.
- Current Affairs, Books & Authors, Sports, Important Schemes, Important Days, People in the News, current incident of national importance, awareness towards General Science, Environment relevant in day-to-day life, and awareness of knowledge of social significance.
- Bihar especially pertaining to its History, Culture, Geography, Economy Polity & general awareness.

- The General Awareness questions will be available in both English and Hindi, with the exception of the General English and General Hindi questions. However, if there is any inconsistency or discrepancy between the English version and its Hindi translation, the English version will always prevail.
