Pakistan Tour of Australia – The first Test of Australia’s tour of Pakistan will now take place in Rawalpindi on March 4, rather than on March 3. The updated schedule for the Australian men’s cricket team’s trip of Pakistan has been released by the Pakistan Cricket Board and Cricket Australia. Three Tests, three ODIs, and one T20I make up the series, which gets underway on March 4. The first Test match will now be played from March 4–8, followed by the next two Tests, and the series will now begin and end in Rawalpindi.
Originally, the first Test was slated to begin on March 3 in Karachi; however, due to a change in the location, the second match will instead take place there from March 12–16, and the third from March 21–25 in Lahore. The matches for restricted overs will take place from March. All three of the One-Day Internationals, which are slated to be contested on March 29, March 31, and April 2, will be held at Rawalpindi. The final match of the tour will be a one-off T20I on March 5 at Rawalpindi.
Pakistan Tour of Australia 2024
The ACC 50-over Asia Cup and the ICC Champions Trophy, which Pakistan will host in 2024 and 2025, respectively, are two examples of these. Depending on how Pakistan performs in ICC and ACC competitions between 2024 and 2027, as well as in the three-nation ODI series in 2025 and 2026, the number of games may increase. The ICC Member Boards work together to create the Future Tours Program. As a result, the PCB will continue to collaborate with its other Members and, depending on player availability and the calendar window for international cricket, may add extra matches and/or series.
Pakistan will play tests against Australia, Bangladesh, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies in the ICC World Test Championship 2024–2025, while they will play matches against Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies in the championship 2025–2027. For the first time since 2004–2005, the three-nation ODI series has been added to Pakistan’s calendar. In 2025, as part of the preparations for the ICC Champions Trophy, Pakistan will play in a tri-series with New Zealand, South Africa, and England; Sri Lanka will play in the series in October/November of 2026.

About PAK Tour of AUS
In March and April 2022, the Australian cricket team will tour Pakistan to play three Tests, three One Day Internationals, and one Twenty20 International match. The ODI series was a part of the inaugural 2020–2024 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League, and the Test series was a part of the 2021–2024 ICC World Test Championship. Australia’s visit to Pakistan was its first since 1998. The Renaud Qatar Trophy, named after former international cricketers Richie Renaud and Abdul Qatar, was played for for the first time during the Test series. Travis Head’s century helped Australia defeat England by 88 runs in the opening one-day international. Australia scored 348/8 from their 50 overs in the second game, with Ben McDermott getting his first ODI century.
Babar Azam scored another century as Pakistan won the third one-day international by nine wickets to win the series 2-1. Since June 2002, Pakistan have not defeated Australia in an ODI series. Australia won the lone T20I match by three wickets to round up the visit. Former players from both sides praised the teams and called for more international cricket in Pakistan after the tour, which was regarded a success. Shahid Afridi of Pakistan expressed his hope that “other teams will follow their footsteps & visit Pakistan,” and Shoaib Akhtar expressed his satisfaction that “the entire series with Australia went smoothly.” Shane Watson of Australia added that the tour was “excellent for world cricket.”

PAK Tour of AUS FTP 2027 Announced?
The International Cricket Council today approved the Australia Men’s Future Tours Program I, which includes two five-Test series against each of arch-rivals England and India. With the confirmation of all bilateral series across the three formats, the FTP announcement, the outcome of a collaborative effort by Full Members with ICC’s cooperation, maintains the predictability of cricket matches. The Members will reveal the series’ actual dates and locations when the time is right. In addition to the high-profile Ashes series, which will open Australia’s campaign in the third cycle of the ICC World Test Championship, the FTP will begin with an away series in England.
In 2024, Australia will host the two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is before hosting Pakistan for three Tests and hosting the West Indies for two Tests, three ODIs, and three T20Is. That season will be concluded by an away series of two Tests and three T20Is in close by New Zealand in February–March. While the home Test series against India is slated from November to January 2024 and the away series in January-February 2025, Australia’s other Test series against England is scheduled from November 2025 to January 2026. Australia’s other obligations include home summer Test matches in 2024 against Pakistan and the West Indies, as well as away trips to Sri Lanka in February 2025 and South Africa in September–October 2026.
Conclusions
In preparation for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 and the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, Pakistan will host the Asia Cup in 2024 and the triangular series in February 2025, whereas it will play 11 T20 Internationals against the Netherlands, Ireland, and England in the run-up to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, which will be jointly hosted by the United States and the West Indies. Pakistan will play Australia in three home T20Is before to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. In addition to Australia, three other teams will play white-ball games in Pakistan between 2024 and 2027: Afghanistan, Ireland, and Zimbabwe.
For the first time in more than 20 years, Pakistan will host 10 out of the 12 ICC Full Member countries, according to its FTP 2027. The news that top-ranked and appealing teams like Bangladesh, England, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies will visit Pakistan to play in matches for the ICC World Test Championship will no doubt excite Pakistani cricket fans. Ten of the twelve ICC Full Members will play cricket in Pakistan throughout the course of the four-year span thanks to tours by Afghanistan, Australia, Ireland, and Zimbabwe as well as other nations.
