Norton V4CR- Under TVS Motor Company’s ownership of the British brand, the Norton V4CR is a stripped-down café racer based on the Norton V4SV superbike. The motorcycle is powered by a Norton-proprietary 1,200cc V-4 engine with 72 degrees of rotation. After India’s TVS took over the brand later that year, Norton has since revised the engine, which was initially developed during the turbulent period under Stuart Garner’s leadership.
The engine’s horsepower decreased by 15 bhp during the redevelopment process, going from 200 to 185 bhp. This power peak and peak torque of 125 Nm are reached at 9,000 rpm, respectively.
