However, don’t be disheartened by the smaller size of this new engine, as it will be supported by a 201-hp electric motor and an electric turbocharger to minimize turbo lag. With this new plug-in hybrid propulsion system, the car will generate an impressive 671 horsepower, giving it a competitive advantage over other high-performance sedans like the BMW M3 and Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, at least in theory.
