The Government of Andhra Pradesh founded the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University College of Engineering in Hyderabad in 1965. JNTUHCEH is another name for the institution. Formerly known as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College, the institution. JNTUHCEH is governed by the Department of Technical Education and is connected with Osmania University in Hyderabad.

It was converted into a constituent institution of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) and given the name JNTU institution of Engineering, Hyderabad when JNTU was founded in the year 1972. Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad’s JNTU College of Engineering is one of its constituent colleges. The institution was first founded in 1965 as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College. However, the institution was formerly associated with Osmania University until changing its affiliation in 1972 to become a constituent college under JNTU, Hyderabad.

The JNTU College of Engineering in Hyderabad offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Additionally, the institution provides integrated level programs with a concentration on engineering and technology. Along with two five-year Integrated programs, it also offers a three-year MCA degree and a two-year M.Sc. program.

• Admission decisions are made in accordance with the regulations and policies set out by the JNTUH and the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).
• A standardized entrance exam called EAMCET is used for admission to the B.Tech program.

JNTU College of Engineering Hyderabad B.Tech Admission 2023

The JNTU College of Engineering provides a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree program to prospective students who desire to pursue careers in engineering at the undergraduate level. The four-year B.Tech program is available. For each speciality, there are 60 seats available for admission.

The Engineering, Agriculture, and Medical Common Entrance Test (EAMCET), administered by the Telangana State Government, is used to determine admission to the four-year Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) program. Only the B.Tech programme at this college will accept applications from candidates who match the qualifying requirements.

JNTU College of Engineering Hyderabad M.Tech, MCA and M.Sc Admission 2023

The Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Computer Application (MCA), and Master of Science (M.Sc) degree programs are available to prospective students at the postgraduate level through JNTU College of Engineering. The M.Tech. and M.Sc. programs last for two years, whereas the MCA program lasts for three years. While the M.Sc. program is offered under four distinct specialties, the M.Tech. program offers 16 different specializations. The kind of specialisation affects the intake capacity. For working professionals, the institution also provides part-time M.Tech and M.Sc programs.

Candidates for M.Tech admission must participate in GATE. In addition to passing the admission exam, the candidate must have earned a minimum of the needed marks in their Bachelor’s degree in the pertinent subject. In addition to GATE, the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Masab Tank, Hyderabad, conducts TS PGECET counseling for admission to the M.Tech program. The Convener, Admission, TS ICET bases admission to the three-year Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program on merit in TS ICET counseling.

Additionally, two integrated dual degree programs in engineering and business administration are offered at the JNTU College of Engineering. Both programs have a five-year length and are available in a variety of specialities. The Convener, Admission, TS EAMCET bases admission to the five-year Integrated Dual Degree Program (IDP) leading to B.Tech.+M.Tech./MBA on TS EAMCET counseling.

• On the website, candidates must complete the online application form.
• The fee of the application must be paid ONLINE using a credit/debit card or by utilizing net-banking.
• For SC/ST applicants, the application fee is Rs. 250, while it is Rs. 500 for GEN/OBC applicants.
• Foreign nationals, individuals of Indian descent, and non-resident Indians (NRIs): The application must be submitted in its entirety to the “Director, University Foreign Relations, 2nd Floor, Administrative Building, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad – 500 085″ along with all necessary documentation (in A4 size) and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of “THE REGISTRAR (UFR account) JNT UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD”, payable at Hyderabad.
