Inter-College Debate: The Navi Mumbai Environment Preservation Society has been actively collaborating with various NGOs to work towards environment protection. The Tirupur division of the TN forest department also celebrated World Wetlands Day at Nanjarayan Tank Bird Sanctuary in Tirupur, with participation from students of Koolipalayam government school and the public. Range officer Suresh Krishnan provided insight into the importance of Wetland Day and unveiled a booklet on Tamil Nadu’s wetlands, which was distributed to the attendees. The EIACP Centre marked World Wetlands Day by initiating an awareness campaign at the ICFRE-Institute of Forest Genetics and Tree Breeding.
