Dinesh Karthik Wiki: Dinesh Karthik is a professional cricketer from India who currently plays for kolkata knight riders in the Indian Premier League and for Tamil Nadu in domestic matches. Dinesh was selected for the Indian team’s tour of England in the same year, 2004, when wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel was injured and unable to participate. On September 5, 2004, against England at Lord’s, he made his ODI debut. He had a fantastic year this year, in which he was a finisher in numerous matches and led RCB to victory and the semifinals. Dinesh was selected by Team India for the home T20 matches against South Africa because of his outstanding performance. He batted in five of the round-robin matches, also against Baroda, and scored 179 runs at an average of 35.80, with his highest score of 88 not out against Uttar Pradesh in his second match. At the beginning of the 2003–04 season, Karthik was recalled to the Ranji Trophy team. He had two centuries, scored 438 runs (an average of 43.80), and caught 20 balls.
