Aravind KP Wiki: Aravind KP is an Indian professional motorcycle racer who rose to prominence after successfully completing the 2019 Dakar Rally. In 2021, he rose to prominence after appearing on the television reality show Bigg Boss Kannada 8. Aravind KP is 36 years old as of 2021 and was born into a middle-class family in Karnataka. He never looked back after venturing into motorcycle racing and became the second Indian racer to complete the Dakar Rally. He competed in TVS Racing at the Gulf Dirt Track National Championship, and since then he has won more than 15 National Championships in Dirt Track, Rallies, and Motocross.

KP won nearly all off-road Indian races, including the Maruti Suzuki Dakshin Dare (2000 km), the Maruti Suzuki Raid De Himalaya (2500 km), and the MRF Suprecross (7 rounds). In 2019, he made headlines when he became the second Indian to complete the Dakar Rally in Peru, finishing in 39th place. And C.S. Santosh, who finished 36th in the rally in 2015, is the first Indian to complete it.

KP Aravind Aravind is an Indian bike racer who has won 17 national championships and an international trophy. He was born in Udupi, Karnataka, on December 8, 1985. Udupi also provided him with his early education. He completed his High School and Puc exams at T A Pai EMHS in Kunjibettu, Udupi. During his school days, he would ride his father’s scooter. Aravind’s father told him that if he passed his intermediate exam with good grades, he would give him a scooter bike. Aravind studied hard after hearing Papa’s voice and passed his PUC exam with 84%.

Aravind’s father gave him his first motorcycle, a Yamaha RX 135 cc, after he passed the intermediate. During his school days, he used to participate in sports such as pole vault, track and field, skating, and shuttle badminton. After that, he went to MGM College in Manipal for his higher education, where he saw the Kambala racing game in Manipur and was inspired by it, and it was from there that his interest in racing began to grow. He saw TVS racing 50cc moped bikes when he was 16 years old, but he had no idea that racing would be his career and that he would shape his future.

However, when he was 19 years old, he began participating in local events and racing during his college days without informing his parents, during which time his friends greatly assisted Aravind. During his college days, when Aravind’s bike broke down, his friends would help him fix it, whether it was a clutch cable that needed to be replaced or money that he needed. Aravind’s friends would even feed him. When he returned home after winning a local race, his picture was printed in the newspaper.
