Features

Performance and Handling

A 348cc liquid-cooled engine powers the Zontes GK350, producing 32.8Nm at 7,500 rpm and 38.8bhp at 9,500 rpm. An assist and slipper clutch are included in the six-speed gearbox that the engine is connected to. Throughout the whole rpm range, the engine makes a coarse mechanical clattering noise. The tyres are also quite responsive while providing reasonable grip levels. A 320mm rotor at the front and a 265mm one at the back assist the motorbike drop anchors. Dual-channel ABS is a typical installation in the safety net.

The front brake has a decent bite and has good feel and development on the lever. In contrast, the rear brake has greater bite, but because of this, the ABS intervenes too soon. This not only lengthens the stopping distance but also eliminates pedal sensation and feedback.

Fuel Efficiency

If you are curious about the ‘kitna deti hai’ aspect of the bike, the Zontes GK350 delivered a mileage of 26.7kmpl in KSEDU real-world fuel efficiency test. Now, that’s not bad at all in this bike, considering the test was done in the city, with moderate traffic and some open stretches on his. Given its 17-litre fuel tank capacity, the GK350 can easily offer a range of close to 450km on a full tank.
