XAT Exam Pattern

The XAT exam pattern is designed to test a candidate’s aptitude in various areas such as Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Knowledge. The exam consists of two parts – Part 1 and Part 2. Part 1 includes questions from the first three sections while Part 2 includes questions from General Knowledge and an Essay Writing section.

The exam is conducted in online mode and candidates are given a total of 180 minutes to complete both parts. Each correct answer carries one mark, while each incorrect answer results in a deduction of 0.25 marks.
