- Mode of Examination: The UPSC EPFO exam is conducted in offline mode (pen and paper-based).
- Type of Questions: The test questions are multiple-choice and objective.
- Total Marks: There are a possible 300 points available in the test.
- Number of Papers: Paper-I is the first section of the test, while Paper II is the second.
- Paper-I: Paper-I is an objective-type paper consisting of multiple-choice questions. It covers topics such as General Ability Test, General English, and General Studies. The maximum score you can get on the exam is 100.
- Paper-II: Paper-II is a descriptive paper that tests the candidate’s knowledge in the field of Indian labor laws, industrial relations, social security, and labor welfare. The highest possible score on the test is 200.
- Duration: The duration of each paper is 2 hours.
