The Samsung Galaxy M14 5G is a brand-new smartphone that just debuted in India. With a starting price of Rs 13,999, it falls into the budget-friendly category. The mid-range Galaxy A14 5G (review) smartphone shares many of the handset’s features, including the chipset, display, and cameras. While the Galaxy M14 5G costs less, it has a larger battery and supports faster charging than the A14 5G. Design and Build Quality

The Galaxy M14, on the other hand, has a build made entirely of plastic and does not go above and beyond in terms of design. It’s easier to hold in one hand thanks to the curved sides. We used a LUX meter to measure the display’s brightness because we did not have official measurements. The LUX meter measured 419 nits of peak brightness on the panel. Having said that, we had no problems using the device outdoors in bright sunlight. While we have no significant objections with the showcase quality, the obsolete water-drop score and terrible thick bezels at the base return us to 2017. Finally, Apex Legends Mobile ran smoothly at 50 frames per second with Normal graphics quality and Very High frame rates, with the exception of landing, when frame rates dropped to 13 frames per second.

One UI Core 5.1 is used in the Galaxy M14. One UI’s lite version is designed for phones on a budget. The device comes pre-installed with Android 13, which has received four years of security patches and two years of major updates. Software was just like on any other Samsung phone. The animation is very smooth when switching between apps or just scrolling through the UI. Additionally, it offers numerous customization options; however, you will need to enable the color palette from the settings. You can use Android 13’s vast selection of wallpaper colors and more by doing this. The phone comes with a lot of Samsung-focused apps, like Wallet and others, as bloatware. The portrait works well here as well, but it occasionally misses a few hair strands. Average night images exist. For good results, images need a lot of artificial light. The majority of the time, the post-processing process is unable to deal with bright light sources, so these appear overexposed.

Battery and Charging

Like its predecessors, the Galaxy M14 has a long battery life. With moderate use, the device’s 6,000mAh battery can easily last two days.
