Allotment of schools will be done through online lottery
Online lottery is conducted to provide RTE free admission to 25 percent seats of private schools to the school students of Madhya Pradesh. Because under the Right to Education Act, 25% seats are reserved for admission to children in private schools. Under the Right to Education Act, online lottery will be conducted for the year 2024 to give free admission to children belonging to weaker sections in private schools. For which the operators of the State Education Center will organize the lottery process. Schools will be allotted to children through online lottery. Information will be provided to the children through SMS. After which the parents of the children will be able to download the allotment letter through RTI portal and get their children admitted in the schools of Madhya Pradesh free of cost till July 22.
More than two lakh parents applied for children
Under RTE MP Admission 2024, more than 2 lakh 1 parents of the state have applied online for free admission of their children in private schools. Eligibility for RTE MP Admission 2024
Only the domicile of Madhya Pradesh will be eligible to apply under RTE Madhya Pradesh. In the lower class of the state, only the children of scheduled caste, tribe will be eligible for admission in RTO Madhya Pradesh. Orphan children can also enroll in the school under RTE Madhya Pradesh. The admission process for children belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes has been started by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under RTE MP Admission. The annual income of the parents should be less than Rs 1 lakh for admission of children under this scheme.
