TNT will broadcast the game nationwide. It will be the Bruins’ fifth regular-season outdoor NHL game, and it will be held at Fenway Park, home of the MLB’s Boston Red Sox, for the second time. About NHL Ice Hockey Winter Classic 2024
The NHL Winter Classic will be held at Fenway Park again the following year. NHL Commissioner Gary Batman announced on Friday at the 2022 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend that the Boston Bruins will host the 2024 event at Fenway Park, the home of the Major League Baseball’s Boston Red Sox. The opponent and the date for the Winter Classic, which is typically played on January 1, were not disclosed. Additionally, Commissioner Batman announced that the 2024 Honda NHL All-Star Weekend will be hosted by the Florida Panthers at FLA Live Arena in Sunrise, Florida, on February 3–4, and that the 2024 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series game will be hosted by the Carolina Hurricanes at Carter-Finley Stadium on the campus of North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina, on February 25.
On January 1, 2010, the Boston Bruins defeated the Philadelphia Flyers 2-1 in overtime in the Winter Classic game at Fenway Park. The last time we were at Fenway was twelve years ago, Commissioner Batman remarked. “Even though a lot of money was invested in the structure, it’s not nearly in the same league. Boston is undoubtedly a fantastic hockey city. We’ve played more than 30 outdoor games so far; if you want to play more, you’ll need to return to several locations. Steve Mayer won’t allow it to look or be the same as it was the previous time. It will be a novel experience in a setting that has undergone some changes and modernization. The Chicago Blackhawks hold the regrettable distinction of playing the most games and losing the most games in the NHL Winter Classic, going 0-4 since their 2009 debut at Chicago’s Wrigley Field. Sidney Crosby
Hockey historians certainly found it tough to pass up Sid the Kid for a spot in the top 10 after witnessing him lift the Stanley Cup for the third time in his career. Before turning 30 in 2005, Crosby, the first overall pick in the NHL draught, became a legend. Bobby Hull
Bobby Hull carved out a place in history thanks to his speed as a skater and shooter, even if his son Brett subsequently put up more astounding numbers in the NHL. The Golden Jet was his moniker as a result of such combination.
The left winger finished a 15-year career as a member of the Chicago Blackhawks with 604 goals after compiling five 50-goal seasons in the NHL. After spending seven seasons with the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA, he eventually climbed to 610, which was second at the time and is currently 17th.
Guy Lafleur
Gut Lafleur had a remarkable rate of output and consistency. The right winger for the Montreal Canadiens amassed at least 100 points every season from 1974–75 through 1979–80. Lafleur not only became the first player to score 100 points in six straight seasons, but he also did so with 119 points in each of those years. Although his career in Montreal came to an abrupt end, he is recognized for his five Stanley Cup victories and two MVP awards with the club.
Mark Messier
During his 26-year NHL career, Mark Messier played for the Edmonton Oilers for 12 seasons, the New York Rangers for two seasons, and the Vancouver Canucks for three. The five Stanley Cups and one MVP award were most of the 15-time All-achievements Star’s with the Edmonton Oilers. In 1994, he helped the Rangers win another championship by contributing crucial plays in both the conference and Cup finals.
Jean Beliveau
The Canadiens icon won a Stanley Cup in precisely half of the seasons he played, even if you including the 1950–51 and 1952–53 seasons, when he made a combined five appearances. Beliveau, who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1972, won 10 championships and twice topped the league in goals. With 1,219 points total during his career, he is one of just 47 players in history to reach the 1,200-point plateau.
Maurice Richard

Mario Lemieux, one of the all-time great goal scorers, has four of the league’s top 17 single-season totals. The only other player to score 69 goals on four different occasions is Wayne Gretzky. His career high of 199 points ranks fifth all-time.
Bobby Orr
Bobby Orr was the first historically significant offensive defenseman and is well known for his leaping celebration in the 1970 Stanley Cup Final. He was the first defenseman to ever lead the league in points in 1969–70.
Wayne Gretzky

If the Event is rescheduled, it will take place at the Venue on January 2, 2024, at a time different from the original time, or on January 3, 2024, at a time to be determined. If the Event is moved to January 3, 2024 at the Venue, tickets purchased for January 2, 2024 will be honored.
Except as expressly stated below, all Event ticket sales are final and cannot be returned or exchanged. If the Event is postponed, a buyer who bought a ticket from an authorized ticket outlet will only be entitled to a ticket refund from that authorized ticket outlet, and under no circumstances will they be entitled to any extra, incidental, or consequential damages.
