Kerala SET Exam Pattern 2024

For the Kerala SET in July 2024, there will be two papers. The term of the Test will be 120 min for each paper.

Paper I

Paper I is common for all student. It consists of two parts,

  • Part (A) General Knowledge
  • Part (B) Aptitude in Teaching

  • There shall be 120 questions carrying one mark each for the subjects under Paper II except for Mathematics and Statistics.
  • For Mathematics and Statistics, there shall be only 80 questions
  • Except for Mathematics and Statistics, each question will carry 1 mark
  • Whereas for Mathematics and Statistics questions will carry 1.5 march each.
2 Hours (120 Mins)

Note:

  • Both papers’ questions must be objective and based on a single response, i.e., The candidates will be required to select and mark their response in the appropriate space on the OMR Answer Sheets for each of the four suggested responses (A, B, C, and D) to each question. Only one of these responses will be deemed to be the most suitable.
  • Candidates will receive one mark for each correct response, with the exception of Mathematics and Statistics, where each correct response will receive 1.5 marks. It will be considered an incorrect response if more than one response is marked against a question. Incorrect responses will not result in points being deducted.

Requirement for Pass

The minimum Employment for a pass in the State Eligibility Test shall be as follows.
