Naturally, this is for the budget section. The 42 Bobber gets a new design, more colors, and updated features that aren’t on the first motorcycle, even though the two look similar.

Jawa 42 Bobber Review
The JAWA 42 Bobber is a fantastic motorcycle that perfectly combines modern performance with traditional design. Riders are able to take corners with ease thanks to the responsive and smooth handling. The engine is ideal for long rides because it has a lot of power and torque. The Jawa 42 Bobber is a stunning “factory custom” bobber that is long, lean, and low-slung. Its appeal is the only thing it lacks! The 42 Bobber is a more youthful and flamboyant take on the bobber design, and it is based on the Jawa Perak platform. When you hit the twisties on the Jawa 42 Bobber, you won’t experience any trembling or nervousness. With dual-channel ABS, the brakes have adequate stopping power and the chassis provides excellent stability and handling.

Design
The design of the Jawa-Yezdi 42 Bobber is one of its distinctive selling points. It draws attention wherever it goes thanks to its appealing factory-custom appearance. The new 42 Bobber may appear to be similar to the Perak at first glance. On the other hand, this Jawa-Yezdi product features a brand-new design, which can be seen in the form of a compact headlight that makes use of LEDs rather than the halogen lights that are used on Perak. In addition, the 42 Bobber comes equipped with tank pads and knee recesses, allowing the rider to hold the motorcycle more effectively than with the Perak. In addition, this bobber-style item comes with a new saddle that is adjustable in two steps for improved ergonomics. The 42 Bobber’s low seat height of just 740mm also makes mounting it simple.
The 42 Bobber comes in a wider variety of color options than the Perak, in addition to the aforementioned styling enhancements. This motorcycle’s color options include Mystic Copper, Moonstone White, and dual-tone Jasper Red. The most stylish and appealing option on the list is the dual-tone red, which is also the most expensive. The 42 badge on the headlight elevates its design quotient, while the fuel tank’s high-quality paint makes it appear more expensive.
Features
The fully digital instrument cluster on the 42 Bobber provides more information than the unit on the Perak and features lighting that is entirely LED. The design is also enhanced by an improved feature list. The Yezdi motorcycle switchgear adds a touch of luxury to the package, and the USB charger makes the package more useful. Sadly, Jawa-Yezdi has not yet announced the availability of a Bluetooth module for the 42 Bobber, not even as an add-on. However, its direct rival, the Royal Enfield Classic 350, has this feature.
In the mean time, the front lamp is among the best units that we have tried in the new past. The high beam has a commendable throw and the low beam has a good spread. In addition, the 42 Bobber’s six-speed gearbox has an assist and a slipper clutch mechanism, and the lever is softer on the 42 Bobber than it is on the Perak Bobber.

This motorcycle’s suspension, which includes telescopic front forks and a monoshock in the rear, feels stiff, and comfort is also lacking. The 42 Bobber doesn’t feel very comfortable, despite Jawa-Yezdi’s claim that the setup has been adjusted for a more pliable ride. As the speed increases, the setup begins to feel more harsh. Although the low ground clearance prevents you from achieving higher lean angles, this setup is useful for spirited riding.
Performance
The 42 Bobber and the Perak both have liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 334cc engines. It also produces the same amount of power and torque as the Perak, with 30 bhp and 32.7 nm of peak torque. Anywhere above 3,000 rpm, this motor continues to run smoothly. However, once it reaches 4,000 rpm, it begins to smoothly generate power. Additionally, it has a robust midrange and high-rev performance. The 42 Bobber travels at 80 kmph at 5,000 rpm in sixth gear and at 100 kmph at just shy of 6,000 rpm. As a result, you still have approximately 3,000 rpm available for quick overtakes. However, the refinement levels are not particularly impressive. Engine Refinement
Did you recall that we stated that the refinement levels are not particularly impressive? This is due to the fact that the vibrations become more pronounced as the revs increase, beginning at 5,000rpm. Additionally, the engine noise is extremely industrial and harsh, making motorcycle riding unpleasant. The gearbox, on the other hand, lacks crispness in the shifting and feels rough, especially when driving through traffic.

Price
The Jawa-Yezdi 42 Bobber is a better value for money than its bobber-style sibling because it is available at a lower price than the Perak, despite all of the aforementioned updates. The most affordable option on the list is the Mystic Copper paint theme, which costs Rs 2,06,500. In the meantime, the dual-tone paint options of Moonstone White and Jasper Red have been priced at Rs 2,09,187 and Rs 2,07,500, respectively.
Conclusion
A stylish motorcycle that will make you the center of attention wherever you ride it, especially when purchased in dual-tone red. The switches, the performance of the headlights, and the quality of the paint are also commendable. However, it lacks refinement and requires a more comfortable ride. Additionally, the motorcycle’s one-seat configuration restricts its use, and the practicality aspect does not work in its favor either. Lastly, the Classic 350, which has a better sales and service network across India and a long list of accessories, retails in the same price range as the 42 Bobber, despite its more aggressive pricing than the Perak.
