Scholarship of Objective Of Indian Oil Sports
As we all know there are many applicants who are really talented sportspersons but due to weak economic conditions, they are not able to make their future in the sports field. By keeping this in mind the Indian Oil Corporation has launched a new programme known as Indian Oil Sports Scholarship. Under this programme, the award will be given to the young promising players so as to encourage their talent. The other main objective of launching an oil sports award is to create a pool of sportspersons where the corporation can select its appointees.

The sports scholarship will only be given to the applicant who is interested in the sports given below

Performance Details
The student must take into consideration the following performance details before taking a part in any of the sports:-
- In Athletics, only individual consequence will be consider. Cross Country consequence will not be consider.
- In Archery, all the categories like Recurve, Compound, and Indian Round will be consider for selection.
- Swimming, only individual consequence will be consider and categories such as Free Style, Backstroke, Breaststroke, and Butterfly will be consider.
- consequence under Artistic Gymnastics will be consider.
- In Kabaddi, Beach Kabaddi will not be consider.
- Volleyball, Beach Volley Ball will not be consider.
- In Football, Futsal / 7 a side Football participation will not be consider.
- Hockey, 5-a-side Tournaments will not be considered.
- In Chess, only consequence under the Classical Time Control will be consider.
- In the case of Team Games, representation in the latest National Level Tournament (National Tournament immediately preceding the date of advertisement) will be consider.
- The case of Individual Games, ranking/ position in the New National Tournament (National Tournament immediately preceding the date of advertisement) will be consider.
- In case there are more aspirants than the vacancy, the player having the better ranking will be consider.
- The case of the same ranking in two different levels (i.e. for example Sub-junior and Junior), the player participating in the senior level of the 2 will be given preference.
