About IB ACIO

Internal security, border management, center-state relations, administration of Union Territories, management of Central Armed Police Forces, disaster management, and other important functions fall under the purview of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). Even though “public order” and “police” are listed in entries 1 and 2 of List II, which is called the “State List,” in the Seventh Schedule to the Indian Constitution, the states are responsible for maintaining “public order” and “police.

Article 355 of the Constitution requires the Union to “protect every State against external aggression and internal disturbance” and to make sure that each state’s government operates in accordance with the Constitution. In order to fulfill these responsibilities, the Ministry of Home Affairs continuously monitors the internal security situation, issues appropriate advisories, shares intelligence, and provides the State Governments with guidance, expertise, manpower, and financial support for the maintenance of security, peace, and harmony without violating the States’ constitutional rights.

IB ACIO Exam Pattern 2024

IB ACIO Exam in 2024, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the exam pattern so that you can prepare accordingly. The IB ACIO Exam consists of two stages: Tier-1 and Tier-2.
