Digi Yatra Facility Soon at All Terminals of Delhi Airport

The Delhi International Airport Company (DIAL) has confirmed that at least two machines will be installed in every terminal of Delhi Airport to make the process convenient for passengers. It will be operational for day trips from April 2024. Currently, about 2,500 passengers use Digi Yatra every day at Terminal 3 of Delhi Airport.

After installing Digi Yatra infrastructure in Terminal 3 and Terminal 2, about 40% of daily domestic travelers will reach the terminal. It will allow seamless access and save about 15 to 25 minutes from entry control to security checks time, said a DIAL spokesperson. DIAL estimates that about 40% of daily travelers will be able to check-in easily at the kiosk after installation.

What is Digi Yatra and How to Use it?

Digi Yatra is an app launched by Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiradiditya Scindia after crowds gathered at Delhi Airport on December 1, 2022. The app is a digital platform for air traveler that speed and simplifies the entire security and boarding check-in process. Store and recognize your face to verify your identity at the airport.
