About Centre for Development of Advanced Computing Recruitment 2024
CDAC (India) Limited, formerly known as the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing, is the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology primary research and development (R&D) organization for IT, electronics, and related fields. Different parts of C-DAC had started at different times, and many of them came about when opportunities were found. As a result of the United States’ refusal to allow the import of supercomputers, C-DAC was established in 1988 to construct supercomputers.
Since then, C-DAC has built multiple generations of supercomputers, beginning with PARAM in 1988 with one GF.C-DAC began developing Indian Language Computing Solutions almost simultaneously, establishing the GIST group (Graphics and Intelligence-based Script Technology); Around the same time, work on Indian Language Computing began at the National Centre for Software Technology (NCST), which was established in 1985.
